Membership Options
This year the Coeur d’Alene Rowing Association is offering 7 membership options. Please review the membership types below to see which one applies to you. All renewal forms are due March 31st. All dues must be current in order for you to row in club equipment.
Student Rower Membership:
For those students enrolled full time in Middle, High School or College our Student Rower Membership dues are $100 ($50 due March 31 and $50 due July 1). We have programs offered through both the local High Schools and North Idaho College that provide a class environment and on-the-water training. This membership level requires all membership paperwork to be completed and includes club-level membership in US Rowing.
The reduced cost of Student Membership gives those members access to the club equipment and dock during normal class hours with the supervision of the coach.

General Rower Membership:
For those rowers not enrolled as full time students, we offer our General Rower Membership. The membership dues for General Rowers are $300 for the Rowing Season due March 31. However, we offer the option of paying $150 by March 31st and the remaining $150 by May 31. Our General Rower Membership includes club-level membership in US Rowing, though you may choose to purchase an individual membership on your own. This membership requires all membership paperwork to be completed.
General Rower Family Membership:
For an additional adult in the same family (includes a domestic partner) living in the same household of a paid general member, we offer our General Rower Family Membership. This membership excludes children and others not living in the same household. The membership dues for General Rower Family are $225 for the Rowing Season due March 31. Our General Rower Family Membership includes club-level membership in US Rowing, though you may choose to purchase an individual membership on your own. This membership requires all membership paperwork to be completed.
Dock Use Only Rower Membership:
For rowers who own their own rowing equipment, we offer our Dock Use Only Rower Membership. The membership dues for Dock Use Only Rowers are $150 for the Rowing Season due March 31. Our Dock Use Only Rower Membership does not include club-level membership in US Rowing and use of club equipment is not allowed. Dock Use Only Rowers are required to be a current, individual member in US Rowing. This membership level requires all membership paperwork to be completed as well as a copy of a current, individual US Rowing Membership card.
Affiliate Rower Membership:
For rowers whose primary membership is with another US Rowing Organizational member club, we offer our Affiliate Rower Membership. The membership dues for Affiliate Rowers are $200. This category is aimed for rowers in regional clubs but may be applied to more distant club rowers as well upon Board approval. This membership level requires all membership paperwork to be completed and proof of other rowing club membership.
First Year Pro-Rated Rower Membership:
For those individuals who are new to Coeur d'Alene Rowing Association and joining after July 15, we offer our First Year Pro-Rated Rower Membership. This membership is based on a 7 month Rowing Season (April through October) with payment due on join date. Our First Year Pro-Rated membership applies only to new members and cannot be used by returning members as a de facto parital year membership. This membership level requires all membership paperwork to be completed and includes club-level membership in US Rowing.
Coxswain Only Membership:
For those individuals who are trained and certified and who wish to only act as coxswain for club boats and not row, we offer our Coxswain Only Membership. This membership level requires all membership paperwork to be completed and includes club-level US Rowing membership. There are no rowing privileges and no annual dues for this membership.
